In View of The Farmers’ Movement, Section 144 Imposed in Narnaul.

Narnaul. District Magistrate Monica Gupta, keeping in mind the agitation by the farmer  unions of Punjab and Haryana in the national capital Delhi from February 13 regarding their demands, passed an order to maintain law and order in the district with immediate effect and imposed Section 144. Is of. This section will remain in force until further orders.

The District Magistrate has clarified in the orders that fire arms, swords, sticks, spears, axes, javelins, gandasa, knives and other weapons (except the sheathed saber used as the actual religious symbol of the Sikhs) will remain banned.

There will be a ban on unnecessary interference, gathering, carrying weapons, sticks, rods etc. and free movement of people in groups of five or more people at any place in the district.

This order will not apply to police personnel and other public servants on duty. The Superintendent of Police will enforce these orders. Those violating the orders will be dealt with strictly as per Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860.
