Rampur: A tragic collision unfolded on the National Highway between a roadways bus and a truck, resulting in severe damage to both vehicles. The force of impact was so immense that the front portion of the bus was obliterated, while the truck careened out of control and overturned by the roadside.
Fortunately, there were no passengers onboard the bus at the time of the accident, averting potential casualties. However, the drivers of both vehicles sustained serious injuries.
Eyewitnesses recounted the severity of the collision, emphasizing the fortunate absence of passengers, which could have led to a more catastrophic outcome. Promptly informed of the incident, the police swiftly intervened, ensuring the injured drivers received urgent medical attention at the district hospital.

The collision occurred around 4 am on Thursday morning as the Rampur depot roadways bus was en route from Bilaspur to Rampur. With only the driver and conductor aboard, the bus collided head-on with a truck near Bhot police station. The impact was so devastating that it resulted in the partial destruction of the bus and the overturning of the truck.
Among the injured were Sabir Hussain, the bus driver from Bilaspur, and Zahid, the truck driver from Baher village in the Punana police station area of Mewat district, Haryana. Thankfully, the bus conductor escaped unscathed. While an investigation into the incident is pending, the focus remains on ensuring the recovery and well-being of the injured drivers
